About This Park
Located in the Colorado River canyon with shady walk-in tent sites near the popular Wall Street climbing area. Individual sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Walk-in sites only (no trailers, RVs or large vehicles).
The Portal Hiking Trailhead is near the campground ascending to spectacular views of the Moab Valley, La Sal Mountains and beyond.

At altitude, expect crisp mornings, quieter nights, and scenery that's hard to leave behind. Facilities are basic — bring what you need and expect a more self-sufficient camping experience.
