For over 2000 years the Miwuk people lived seasonally in this canyon, gathering food, and fishing the river. No hookups here — this is genuine off-grid camping, best suited for self-contained rigs and tent campers who prefer solitude. The coastal setting delivers ocean air and water views that make every morning feel like a reward. Cell service is likely limited out here — consider it a built-in reason to properly unplug.
